Reconomy Group businesses achieve Ecovadis Gold Status

Reconomy Group brands, spanning the three divisions of Recycle, Comply and Re-use, have been awarded Ecovadis Gold Status.

Ecovadis is one of the most credible and widely recognised sustainability assessment platforms, reflecting the depth and substance of a company’s sustainability management system.

As holders of this accreditation, Reconomy Group brands Reconomy (Recycle division), Valpak (Comply division) and ReBound (Re-use Division) all sit within the top 5% of companies globally assessed for sustainability.

The assessment covers Reconomy Group’s approach to the environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, aligning well with the progress made over the last three years with the Reconomy Social Value Programme (RSVP) and Environmental Action Plan (REAP).

Other Reconomy Group brands across the three divisions, including Cycleon and Advanced Supply Chain Group (ASCG) have also completed Ecovadis assessments for the first time and are now on a journey of continuous improvement towards agreed sustainability targets.
