Tony joined Reconomy in October 2018, taking on responsibility for all internal and external marketing deliverables across Reconomy’s group of companies. Providing a strong focus on developing Reconomy’s digital marketing strategies, Tony also supports the company’s programme of tech-enablement for the benefit of its customers, leads ongoing brand strategy as the group expands and has helped develop and communicate the Reconomy Social Value Programme (RSVP) launched in 2019.
Tony has over 15 years of experience working in marketing and senior leadership roles within the utilities, manufacturing and construction industries, principally at builders’ merchants, Jewson, where he worked for 10 years, primarily as Marketing Services Director and latterly as UK Showroom Director. Prior to his time at Jewson, he gathered a breadth of experience from roles at E.on, Halstead Boilers (Dimplex) and the National Merchant Buying Society (NMBS). Tony holds a CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) Professional Diploma and a BA(Hons) in Sociology from Nottingham University.
